Digital Interactive Classroom covers the complete curriculum of the ICSE plus State Board which gets impeccably integrated into the school’s syllabus. The resources include comprehensive learning modules, educational games, interactive e-books, audio, 2D/3D video and files.
We have a full-fledged Physics, Chemistry and Biology lab. The lab is open for all the students to get a hands-on experience of the practical aspect based on theoretical learning. The labs provide a multi-sensorial learning experience. Detailed individual reports are generated by the students and are shared with the rest of the class for better understanding and knowledge sharing.
In the fast paced world of information technology, we continuously upgrade our technology and ensure that our students are not just computer savvy but are also updated. Our computer labs are spacious and equipped with latest hardware and software.
In-house training programs are conducted to upgrade the teachers with the latest techniques. These Teacher Development Programs enhance the subject proficiency. Various other digital communications are also conducted for the students.
Dance, Theatre and Music is an important means of stimulating creativity. It can challenge student’s perceptions about their world and about themselves. Dramatic exploration can provide students with an outlet for emotions, thoughts, and dreams that they might not otherwise have means to express. This is perhaps the most important reason why performing arts is a part of our school curriculum.
In the school’s art studio, students learn basic drawing skills and explore art concepts. They learn to appreciate different art forms and artists of various cultures. The primary goal is to develop a lifelong interest in our students for fine art and a positive attitude towards their own creative self-expression.
NCC Battalion is another feather in the cap of St. Mira’s. The NCC of St. Mira’s High School is associated with 1 Karnataka Girls Battalion. Camps and Parades are life changing experiences. Our cadets do a lot of community service which inculcates high discipline and builds confidence in the citizens of tomorrow.
The school’s physical education classes cover games, track and field events. The classes are intended to inculcate discipline and physical fitness.
Child Safety is our top priority and we give high importance to it. We have CCTV cameras installed in and around the campus which gives us a detailed view of all the activities. We have well trained security guards and women security coordinators who ensure 24/7 safety and security in the school.
